Kitchen Remodel with Brazilian Granite

A Brazilian Granite Countertop gave this Kitchen Remodel a whole new look.

Through this project, the first floor was completely remodeled with Brazilian Granite featured in the Kitchen. Brooks Construction was responsible for the structural remodel. Working together, Studio Fain and Brooks Construction excelled and achieved great success. They did a phenomenal job bringing the design to life structurally. They delivered all of our requirements within the timeline and budget constraints of the project.

Putting the Brazilian Granite Countertops into effect.

The most significant update to the project was the 45-degree angle kitchen. By taking out the slanted walls, we built a big eat-in kitchen island. By opening up the kitchen, a sense of tranquility and openness was felt. Exotic Brazilian Granite adorns the top of this island, creating an eye-catching pattern. Granite from Brazil, known as Brazilian Granite, is well-known for its unique characteristics. Granite is one of the major exports for Brazil and the global demand for this exotic granite remains exceptionally strong as it is truly spectacular.

The high vaulted ceiling in this room creates a dramatic ambiance that is further enhanced by the huge pendants that hang down from it. The perfect counterpoint to this grandeur is the Brazilian granite countertop, which adds a touch of elegance and sophistication to the space. The Brazilian granite has a unique look and feel, with its deep black and grey veining that stands out against the lighter flooring.

The floors throughout are European White Oak with a beautiful oil finish. We picked this light flooring to make the layout appear more open. The neutral color palette and serene atmosphere create a welcoming, transitional style between traditional and modern designs.

Spectacular Kitchen Remodel

Kitchen remodel projects are one of our specialties. As Studio Fain has so many vendors to choose from with truly unique decor, we created a clean, custom look. Our client was ready for a larger kitchen in their mid-century bungalow. We needed a creative, functional solution so we joined the existing kitchen to the laundry room. The kitchen was a complete structural redesign with engineering necessary to avoid a column. Steven Ray Custom homes was trusted with this project and was successful in rebuilding this kitchen to our specifications. An amateur designer would have backed away from anything structural, but we knew we could trust Steven Ray Custom Homes with the challenge, and they delivered.

Creative and Timeless

Creativity in kitchen remodels are echoed by the timeless design choices that were made. The end result was a terrific eat in island, open concept living and dining and the stunning focal point of the range with a gorgeous marble backsplash. We designed this kitchen remodel with wellness in mind. By opening up the kitchen you can now see the outdoor landscapes. Paper White Cabinetry and Super White Dolomite Island counter tops. The view of nature, the round almost moon like pendants, the bright color palette and flowing floor plan all falls in line with our integration of wellness design. Kitchen remodels are the best opportunity to focus on wellness since your kitchen is where wellness begins.

Water Damage Restoration | Studio Fain

Water Damage Restoration

This spectacular project was a flood damage restoration project from Hurricane Harvey. Studio Fain chose to work together with Brooks Construction Group, LLC, a construction company that specializes in water and flood Damage. The homeowner wanted to display her stunning art collection in a space that was modern, sophisticated, glam with some rock and roll. We did exactly what she asked for.

European White Oak Flooring

The floors are a beautiful dark gray European White Oak with an oil finish. Why European White Oak? It’s an excellent choice as this hard wood is strong and durable, perfect for flooring. The owner was looking for sophistication and the European White Oak fits perfectly in her scheme.

1960’s Modern with Zen Accents

The furniture is a terrific mix of 60’s modern, transitional upholstery and chose to use zen accents. In the living room hangs a terrific industrial/glam chandelier. The look of this chandelier merges her mind’s eye with the style of the remodel. It’s a statement piece that meshes incredibly well. The windows are painted black to draw the eye to the beautiful backyard.

Marble and Sea Foam Green

The kitchen countertops are beautiful marble with sea foam greens, grays, and whites. The edge is an awesome three-inch mitered and the backsplash is glass brick. The pantry and built-ins are contrasted with an oak veneer which adds natural beauty to the modern kitchen.

A Classy Man Cave

The man cave has a wonderful portrait of the great Mohammad Ali with leather wallpaper on the walls and black limestone on the floor. We worked very closely with the homeowners to achieve the exact look that they wanted. Window Replacement | Studio Fain | Lakes of Eldridge

From a Loss to a Win

As this home was devastated by Hurricane Harvey, the homeowners took the opportunity to turn a total disaster into an opportunity to update their entire home. The finished design was a big improvement that brought harmony into their home.

Window Replacement Installation

We began by changing all the windows of the home to black aluminum clad which was a huge change in and of itself. Black aluminum clad window replacements are both stylish and functional as they do not fade over time. They are not only low maintenance, they are durable. We love the sophisticated look they create bringing an updated vibe to every window.

Modern Kitchen Island

We blew out the hallway and created a modern kitchen island with the quartz water fall and the quartz custom hood. The kitchen is a lovely combination of traditional and modern. The floor is a dark engineered hardwood. The counter tops are Calacatta Quartzite. The back splash is a white crackle subways on a herringbone. Its classic.

Porcelain Marble Master Bathroom

The master bath is completely tiled in porcelain marble. We changed the ugly glass block to a frosted window with a black metal frame. The freestanding bath tub is adorned with the Paris Fleamarketed chandelier by Circa Lighting. So pretty.

Entire Home Remodel in Houston

We were so excited to create a entire home remodel in Houston, as it gives us a chance to seamlessly blend the rooms together. When a client wants to reinvigorate their homes, Studio Fain brings the new look to life. The owners decided they wanted a facelift. We were able to design a home remodel that fit their taste and budget. The project was major and showcases a bright, clean look with abstract art sprinkled throughout the home.

Color and Contrast

At the beginning of the project with input from the owners, we painted the entire residence Sherwin Williams Pure White. We love the Pure White as its bright and clean. We were careful to incorporate decor that would bring out the warmth to the shade to avoid being stark or cold. Interior design trends follow our lead using the “Pure White” to bring the crisp and clean look to their interior spaces.

Textures Lighting and Cabinetry

Both the kitchen remodel as well as the bathroom remodel includes installing new lighting, textures and cabinetry. We used geometric shaped pendants giving a modern look to the kitchen remodel. We skillfully integrated a few black details to the kitchen making it pop with contrast.

The master bathroom remodel was the biggest transformation. We removed furrdowns and installed a freestanding tub. The tile we chose is gorgeous and gives the master bathroom a truly updated feel. The finishing touch to the master bath was the unique bathroom vanity.

Incorporating Wellness

Wellness design is a specific way we incorporate lighting, materials and neutral color palettes into the home remodel. It is a method that brings soothing earth tones into an interior design balancing the flow of the home. Creating a space that looks and feels amazing while dovetailing into your own personal style, our clients are consistently impressed with the transformation of their home.
